If you or someone you know was affected by the tornado that went through the Fox Cities and devastated Menasha, Appleton, Neenah and the surrounding communities, we’ve gathered some resources to help.
Please continue to pray for those who have been impacted, as well as the continued safety of emergency responders and volunteers.
Community Resources
Winnebago County is providing ongoing community updates for the Village of Fox Crossing and the City of Menasha and surrounding community on their website and Facebook page. Please continue to monitor for the latest updates as they’re constantly changing.
The curfew and burn bans put in place have been lifted in the affected Winnebago County communities.
Emergency childcare assistance is now available for those impacted by the tornado and storm damage. Get more details here.
An interactive map was created to help connect residents with resources, like water, public showers, supplies, and food. If you need volunteer assistance cleaning up your property, contact 211 to be connected with available support.

Local Church Support & Volunteer Opportunities
Mill City Church in Neenah is still accepting donations for area residents through the month of August, with the exception of water and clothing. They will keep their donation center open to the community for those still in need of support. Visit Facebook to learn more about how to donate or for hours their donation center is open.
Christ the Rock Community Church in Menasha is currently offering food and supplies by request to be picked up or delivered. Open to all in Appleton, Neenah, Menasha and Fox Crossing. To request assistance, click here. You can also sign up for volunteer opportunities by going to their website.
Alliance Church has partnered with Samaritans Purse to assist with volunteer cleanup through August 21st. Visit the signup link to learn more.
Thanks to Volunteer Fox Cities for coordinating efforts during the aftermath of the tornado. They are now focusing on long-term help and recovery with specialized needs they will post as they become available.
