June 6 – Uncle Mike’s Donut 5K – Green Bay
Race begins at 9:30 am
This June, to extend the celebration of National Donut Day, The Salvation Army Kroc Center is teaming up with the donut (and Kringle) experts at Uncle Mike’s Bake Shoppe for a 5k run/walk. The run/walk starts and finishes in Green Isle Park, and weaves through the streets of Allouez. Enjoy live entertainment, donuts and refreshments in the park, and a complimentary donut from Uncle Mike’s after the race! June 13 – Flag Day Parade – Appleton
Begins at 2:00 pm
The City of Appleton announced a significant change for the 75th Appleton Flag Day Parade. Beginning this year, the parade will follow a more contained route, moving east along College Avenue from State Street to Drew Street. June 20 – Butterfly Festival – Appleton

The Fox Cities Butterfly Festival is a family fun event held each June at City Park in Appleton, WI. Event profits will help fund the Kiwanis iPads for Autism program, the Kiwanis ‘n Cops ‘n Kids Reading program, and various local Kiwanis child-focused, non-profit organizations in the Fox Cities. Families, children, and individuals attend the Fox Cities Butterfly Festival to learn about butterflies, participate in family-friendly games & activities and enjoy snacks.
