“God is able. He’s our ever-possibility. And He will walk with you, just like He’s walking with me.” – Lynn Garret

A message from Lynn, September 2025
My dear friends,
From all across the state, I have been receiving the most beautiful cards filled with encouragement and prayers. I am truly overwhelmed by your love and support. Please know that every single card has been opened and read. Your words have brought comfort, strength, and reminders of God’s faithfulness.
As we continue on this journey, we trust fully in God’s timing and His perfect plan. We are walking with Him, and we know He is walking with us every step of the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (my husband and family) for your continued prayers.
With love and gratitude,
Lynn’s Obituary, September 2025
Lynn Garret
June 10, 1955 – September 15, 2025
On September 15, 2025, a wonderful woman, Lynn, received an important call. She was told that her work to spread God’s Word was complete, and it was time to come home. Though she longed to remain with her loved ones, Lynn could not refuse the Lord’s invitation to a place filled with music, dancing, laughter, love, and endless board games.
Lynn’s wish was that her life be celebrated as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, teacher, and servant of God.
Lynn’s joy and love touched everyone she met. She was passionate about education—graduating from Kimberly High School, earning her undergraduate degree from UW–Stevens Point, and completing her master’s in Speech and Language Pathology at Marquette University. Lynn taught for many years in the Green Bay School District, where she made a lasting impact on countless students. In her spare time, Lynn loved to read books. She also cherished her time in women’s bible study.
For the past 17 years, Lynn was a cherished evening announcer for The Family Radio Network. Through her voice and faith, she inspired and uplifted listeners across Wisconsin. Lynn was deeply grateful for the many cards and wishes from listeners that filled her kitchen walls in her final days.
Lynn will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, immense kindness, and unwavering faith in Jesus. She had a gift for lighting up any room with her warm smile, contagious laughter, and silly dance moves. Adventurous at heart, she loved traveling with Tom—whether visiting Jordan in Florida, ziplining through Kentucky caves, enjoying a Hallmark Christmas in Kansas City, or even trying indoor skydiving. She drew inspiration from people like Michigan photographer Bugsy Sailor, who captured every sunrise, and from the Beam family of Miracles from Heaven, the movie.
Lynn faced her cancer diagnosis with the same tenacity and grace that defined her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and courage that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Jordan; her husband Thomas; her faithful companion pup, Little Laz, and her bonus children Jenna (Matthew), Aaron, Laura, and Cassie (Jeff), and Holly. Her beloved grandchildren include Annika, Avery (Jake), and Cooper; Brielle, Ethan, and Anna; Joshua, Audrey, and Harper.
The family is deeply blessed for the compassionate care of Unity Hospice’s dedicated nurses whose kindness brought comfort and peace to Lynn during her final journey, especially Bailey, Sue, Sarah and Ashley. Lynn will be deeply missed but forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. The Lord has welcomed her home, saying: “Well done, good and faithful servant… you have finished the race well.”

Over 4 tons of PB&J donated!

The 2025 PB&J Drive results are in…
The Family wrapped up its third annual PB&J Drive. Thanks to your generous support over 9,000 pounds of peanut butter and jelly was collected to help families in need!
Fun Facts
- 9,245 pounds = over 4 tons of peanut butter & jelly. That’s A LOT of sandwiches!
- In fact, that’s enough to make over 148,233 PB&J sandwiches.
- 148,233 sandwiches is enough to feed everyone at a sold-out Lambeau Field game 2 sandwiches!
- If you laid out all the sandwiches end to end, it would equal over 7 miles of PB&J sandwiches.
- If you decided to stack those same sandwiches on top of each other, it would equal 10 Empire State Buildings stacked on top of each other!

Jesus prayed for you!

Did you know that you are a living, breathing answer to prayer?
You are a living, breathing answer to prayer.
Did you know Jesus directly prayed for you?
In the book of John, chapter 17 describes in detail the prayer Jesus said to His heavenly Father just before He knew He would be arrested and sent to the cross.
Jesus prayed and asked God for three things:
1. Glory to the Son & the Father
Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. John 17:1-2
2. Protection & Unity for His Disciples
Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11b
3. Belief for Future Generations
I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. John 17:20b-21
How would you respond?
If you knew that soldiers were on their way and you would soon be sentenced to a gruesome and painful death, you’d be praying for your own safety, right?
Not, Jesus. Jesus, prayed for you!
You are the living, breathing future generation that Jesus tenderly prayed to God about.
As a believer, you are the disciple that Jesus fervently requests to know God’s love, protection, and unity.
You are who Jesus had in mind when He prayed this prayer:
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. John 17:24
Jesus asked God for you to be where He is and because of His sacrifice – you can be.
One day you will sit with the man, who is himself God, who chose to pray for you.
Will you join The Family in praying like Jesus?
Pray that God is glorified.
Pray that we may be united as believers in our mission to win more souls for Christ.
Pray that everyone who doesn’t know God will come across the right friend, the right song and the right radio station that will point them to their loving Savior.
