Classy Baked Chicken Breast
From Lisa Burno
Boneless Chicken Breast (approximately 6, I cut them into strips)
1 1/2 cups Ritz Crackers (one sleeve)
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 stick butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water
1 can mushrooms (or fresh, sliced mushrooms)
8 oz. sour cream
Mix crushed Ritz crackers and Parmesan cheese. Melt butter.
Dip chicken breast in butter and then in dry ingredients.
Place in 9 X 13" pan.
Mix together mushroom soup and water.
Mix well and add to this mushrooms and sour cream. Pour over chicken breast.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Notes from Lisa:
It is so delicious! Everyone that I have made it for has been crazy for it.
I like to serve it with either mashed potatoes and green beans or I sometimes get those chicken/broccoli flavored rice packets. When I make the chicken flavored rice, I always make broccoli with it. Last time I used the garlic flavored Ritz crackers, it was tasty. The original Ritz is just as good. MMMM good! You're gonna love it!
Note from Terri:
I served this with one of the Sensational Salads from the recipe page and it was a perfect meal.
