Taco Salad -- Chilled

From the kitchen of Aunt Patty

1 head iceberg lettuce, torn
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can red beans, drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped tomatoes 1 (14.5 ounce) package taco chips, broken
1 bottle Sweet Catalina dressing
sour cream
black olives

Over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat
Stir in the taco seasoning and water, according to package directions. Simmer 5 minutes.

Toss lettuce, taco meat, beans, cheese, tomatoes, and ½ bag of chips with dressing.

Add ‘extra’ toppings as guests choose.
