From the kitchen of Darlene Olson
2 cups sugar
1¼ cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 cup oil
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup cocoa
½ cup nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Dump all ingredients into bowl, except chocolate chips. Mix well.
Place in greased 9X13" pan and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Have fun baking now that it is cooler! I baked sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies today.
~ Don’t know if it’s the eggs or perfect combination of oil and cocoa, but these are as good as they are fast and they are a fabulous base for a brownie hot fudge or caramel sundae!
