Sauerkraut Noodle Pork Casserole
1 lb. of pork steak, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1 16 oz. can of sauerkraut, drained
8 oz. kluski noodles, or narrow, hearty egg noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can of water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Cook noodles until ½ done.
Brown meat with onion.
In a 3 quart casserole, layer drained sauerkraut, ½ dry soup mix,
noodles, pork and onions, the rest of the dry soup mix.
Mix mushroom soup with water and pour over all.
Bake, covered, for 90 minutes in a 300 degree oven.
-Leftover pork roast would be great~! Just brown onions, add meat and mix together.
