Italian Harvest Chicken

6 medium potatoes, washed
1/2 red pepper, cut in 1/2" strips (or all of it!)
1/2 green pepper, cut in 1/2" strips (or all of it!)
2 small onions, peeled and quartered
3 lbs. chicken, any combination (breasts/dark/all legs, all thighs, etc.)
1/2 lb. pork sausage, cut into 1/2" slices
about 1/2 bottle Italian salad dressing

Arrange all pieces in a large casserole (9 x 13) dish. Pour Italian dressing over evenly. Bake covered for 1 hour at 350 degrees; uncover and bake until done (about another ½ hour to an hour? Check the potatoes).

Notes:
Do remove the skin of the chicken.
I'm adding small, whole or sliced, mushrooms to my dish! Maybe some baby carrots too.

This is sooo simple and simply wonderful. You have to try it.
