1/2 gallon apple cider
1 quart cranberry juice
1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade, undiluted
5 whole cinnamon sticks
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 cup golden brown sugar (optional)
In a large pan, combine all ingredients and place over low heat.
Bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain.
Put spices in a tea ball and put back into cider if desired.
To use a 20-cup coffee maker to heat cider, pour cider, juice and lemonade into the coffee pot as you would water to brew coffee. Put the spices in the basket. Brew.
Serve hot. Makes approximately 20 servings.
~ Taste test before adding sugar. It was wonderful without the added sugar.
