Caramel Snack MIx

From the kitchen of Dianne Simpson

¼ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons light Karo Syrup

Set electric skillet to 300 degrees.
Place butter, brown sugar and Karo syrup in skillet and boil for six minutes without stirring.

1 cup Rice Chex
1 cup Cheerios
1 cup pretzels
1 cup dry roasted peanuts

Combine 4 cups of any combination of ingredients you want in large bowl.
Pour hot butter/sugar/Karo mixture over and mix well.

Spread mixture on waxed paper to cool and break into small chunks. Store in airtight container. Can be frozen.
