8 uncooked lasagna noodles, broken
1 pound ground beef, cooked, drained
1 Tblsp. Italian Seasoning
1 32 oz. jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
15 oz. ricotta or cottage cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms (optional)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. or 1 clove minced garlic
Spray bottom of crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place ½ of the noodle pieces in the bottom of crockpot.
Top with ½ the ground beef.
Mix seasoning, garlic and sauce together and spread ½ over meat.
Layer ½ each of mushrooms, ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan.
REPEAT all layers.
Cover, and cook on LOW setting for 5 hours.
A loaf of crusty bread-sliced, buttered and wrapped in foil can be warmed over the fire. Add a fresh salad and you have all the delights of home!
