Super Sandwiches

1 lb. frozen bread or pizza dough, thawed - but not risen.
shaved meats, ham, turkey, roast beef, pepperoni, etc. (8-9 oz. per loaf of dough)
shredded (~1 cup per loaf), or thin sliced cheese
mayo or Miracle Whip, olive oil, or flavored dipping oil, mustard, herbs
thinly sliced pepper, red pepper, onion, tomatoes, etc.
1 egg, beaten (optional)
1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place dough on lightly floured surface; flatten slightly with hands, then roll into 12x8-inch rectangle with a rolling pin. (If dough is difficult to roll, cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature for 30 min. before rolling out.)

Top dough evenly with meat, overlapping slices slightly and leaving a 1/2-inch border around all sides.

Spread dressing evenly over meat.

Top evenly with cheese, leaving a 1/2-inch border around all sides.

Moisten edges of dough with water. Starting at one of the long sides of dough, fold 1/3 of the dough over filling and then repeat with other long side of dough. Firmly pinch ends of dough together to seal.
Place, seam side down, on lightly greased baking sheet or on a baking stone.

Cut three diagonal slits in top of dough with sharp knife or shears.
Brush evenly with beaten egg or butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake 35 to 40 min. or until golden brown.
Cool 10 min. before cutting into slices to serve.

Notes:
Use your baking stone and put two, end to end, in a circle.
Ham, scrambled eggs, and cheese for breakfast?
With pizza fillings! Pepperoni or Canadian bacon, mozzarella, black olives, pepper, and a little sauce.
My family really liked the ham and cheese, onion, red pepper, and seasoned dipping oil.
